So you think King is an improvement on what we have. I sort of get ayew but not king no matter where he plays we already have players as good as him and he adds nothing but another sub. He is a bang average player I get it if we had signed a starter in the position King plays. It is just lazy from the board and shows we have absolutely no scouting in place.

Nope, in truth I don't get it either TLF so I tried to get some positives by looking at the positions only and not the names. What we've done is swap 2 defensively central midfielders for 2 attacking oriented midfielders who can also cover some holes we had at RM and LM. I did say 'on paper' coz the reality of it TLF, well we'll just have to wait and see.

Hope has sparked into life though imo as Carvalhal seems to be getting a tunes out of Fer and Clucas, he's making VDH run like a colt in midfielder and Mawson now looks like a Bentley in our defense who can play anywhere except Keeper. Naughton has been playing so much better under Dr Carlos too and Dyer has been a revelation. The whole of the team have bought into whatever it is Carvalhal has been selling so who knows what he can do with King and Ayew.

How good would it have been then if we actually signed something with a little bit of quality. instead of an also ran. we can try and spin it how we like, he is simply a poor panic signing if it comes off.

But then the yanks would have to pay for that quality and we know they are allergic to spending money

At least we've got an AM now in Ayew and, imo, he does improve the squad.

With a back five, we now have selection choices in midfield
old choices
Dyer//Routledge-----Fer//Ki//Messa//Fulton//Carroll//Sanchez-----Carroll//Routledge
J Ayew//Abraham
J Ayew/Bony//Abraham//Mcburnie
Vs
New choices
Dyer//Routledge//A Ayew//King-----Fer//Ki//Carroll//King-----Carroll//King//A Ayew//(ha ha Carroll King)
A Ayew/J Ayew//Abraham
A Ayew/J Ayew/Bony//Abraham

Sure I'm missing someone but hopefully you get my drift. Might not be the personnel we wanted but its better than it was imo.

Kingy is a Leicester legend and a great servant to the club. Only player in the modern era to win League 1, the Championship and the Premier League

He wont let you down but wont pull up any trees either. A safe and dependable player and a very good person to have around the place. He is always good for a goal aswell

He is very calm and composed in front of goal
