Because 1, or heaven forbid 2 key injuries would derail the ability to procure the Ferrari in 15 weeks, and we may have to exclude certain targets due to missing out on CL (or Europe of some sort).

We could survive an injury to two cms better than ever before.

You don't want to be stuck with a lesser players for years because you didn't just wait 15 weeks which is nothing in business timescales.

By the way, I hope you're not
expecting a single, merciful chop.
The plan is to start at the tip and work down, using multiple slicing strokes with a blade dipped in hot chilli sauce.
Note this technique wouldn't work on Chippy, when a single cut would still suffice.
