Chronicle now reporting Shelvey to Forrest. They really are a **** show these days for local news, reporting everything miles behind everyone else.

Reactions: Munson.
I honestly cannot fathom why we would ever need to replace Shelvey.

Might be Howe trying to squeeze another signing out of the owners.

I'll explain it simply.

Despite one or two halfwits on here, Bruno is actually a deep lying playmaker that roams around in front of the defence and slightly deeper of the midfield. His major asset is spotting runs from the wingers and pinging a ball into the space their running into or switching play from the centre to either flank with a sweeping ball out to the full backs.

He is also happy to press the opponents and tackle opponents (Shelvey never did this) and occasionally carry the ball (Shelvey never did this either). What he isn't, is an attacking midfielder that's going to go on mazy driving runs and dribble past a group of centre backs and stick the ball in the back of the net.

He's ****ing mint where he is, lets let him get on with it. Therefor Shelvey is his backup and if he goes we need another body in there, or an alternative would be a combative ball winning defensive midfielder as an extra option.

Yes he's capable of making late runs into the box and getting a shot off but the majority of his shots come from deeper and the edge of the area.

Here ends today's lesson

That's all well and good but it's like saying you have a bicycle available to replace a jumbo jet.
