I think Gordon will be at newcastle by deadline day and I think they'll land Ashby also.
Probably this. The thing with Ashby is will he be instant cover, training with the first team & competing with Manq for a spot on tbe bench? Or will he be another "one for the future" who gets loaned out to a lower league?
Apparently Bielsa has assessed the squad and has more or less said they won’t be able to play his style.
He said that before the most recent talks between him and the club. He was in London yesterday, meeting Moshiri by all accounts.

Agree, he would be a bad choice for them, especially right now.
The only ones who really fit his style are Gordon, Onana, Iwobi and Gray.
Their defenders don't have the leg/pace for a back and forth basketball style game where they are constantly up and down the pitch. They'd be absolutely fooked by half time.
They also don't have a striker, Gordon might be coming to us. That one is yet to be seen.
The only thing they have going for them is their CBs are quite good. Under Bielsa that will go to ****.
