Wake up call definitely incoming. Just coz u have the biggest owners doesn't mean you can spend the biggest.

We need to earn more. We should start charging more for tickets

£20 quid for a semi final ticket is insanely cheap especially on the Milburn side just under the plat club.

They could just continue what they're doing and get in the champions league in their 1st season without bursting the bank of course

I mean ffs .. they've got the best defence in the league, they've lost 1 prem game all season , sit 3rd in the league, look destined for Wembley and everyone wants them to change the team immediately

I don't that's why i don' want Gordon.

I think that even you can see that isn't quite the case - most just want a couple in to support the charge.

They're on the cusp of signing one of England's best young prospects who's proven at this level and for all we know another signing.

The fans are already saying no to things and they don't even no what theyre saying no to.

He's the perfect player to come in and that's why they're after him.

Exactly

Newcastle haven't got time to be ****ing about for months trying to bed players in to the league that are unproven in it . top 4 will be almost decided by then .

Gordon comes in and they know he can do it... no more Murphy...

I'm not a big fan of Gordon, but if we bring him in - for a reasonable price - I'm more than happy as that is clearly what those driving the bus want.
I'm also aware enough that we'll have quite a few other irons quietly in the fire and may well get them across the line in the next week.

There is a bit of bed wetting going on, I agree - but I can't get on board that people are after radical changes. Just some additional firepower / fresh legs for the squad.

Let's see where we are when the window closes.

Staveley told us the idea and it was 250 million in the 1st 5 years on the 1st team plus investment in every other area of the club including the youth team, facilities and stadium.
She also used the word patience about 1000 times

she’s not gonna say she has a billion to blow now is she… <laugh><laugh><laugh>

Indeed.

I think there those who own the bus, those who drive the bus, those who pay to get on the bus to enjoy the journey and then those who lick the bus window.

And we are trying to buy a player off some window lickers! Let the good times roll
