I'd prefer us to sign nobody than the wrong person. We're still not as big a pull as a lot on here seem to think we are. Getting the wrong player in now, on high wages and a decent contract no doubt, just ties up money and squad space that we could use better later.

I don't want to be excited I want players they run themselves into the ground and pisd off the opposition until they get sent off

Exactly... look how signing lazy ponces usually works out ..

A few years ago nufc fans would've got excited over some over rated player like sancho.

The last two windows nufc fans have said they were underwhelmed but each time the club got it spot on .

Some were even cribbing about buying a goalie from a relegated club during the summer, that same goalie is probably the best keeper in the league now.
