Gordon looked class at first but he's been hopeless this season..

Hopefully Everton price him way too highly and newcastle go elsewhere

I have a feeling Everton would ask for like 50 ms ...hopefully newcastle won't pay more than 20.... he runs around alot .. not seen much else in him other than tenacity.. misses more than most .

I guess it's a decent addition depending on the price.

He's much better than Murphy but I'm not as convinced by his attitude plus - most importantly - the kind of price I suspect we'd need to pay we could surely get better players. The main thing i can think of is that he's English and young so would fill a quota, to succeed then we would need to start developing or buying some of the better English players and there's a lot of competition for them so maybe getting one Howe thinks he can get more out of is the best bet.

A 40 to 50 million pound player is what we're talking about ... I think he looked a good player last season but with no end product and now he just runs around like a mad man.
