Would be a bit silly to release him without getting someone in, despite his poor form he provides cover in an area where we are lacking numbers.

I'd prefer we sell him, unless the loan is a means to shifting him longer term. Selling would make it more viable to spend on a new player. Unless we are also just going for a loan deal for somebody inbound for now.
