Tube strikes is all I can guess at.

EDIT; probably not actually, the game was in Brighton.

Liverpool are on the verge of signing Daniel Sturridge from Chelsea and after selling Tom Ince to Blackpool for 150K they are buying him back for 6M

This is why Liverpool are going to ****. Let go decent young players like Ince and then complain when they don't have any attackers. Idiots.

Rodgers has told Downing he can leave. I think a clear out is needed there, if they give Rodgers time then I think he will turn them around but it wont be this season or even maybe next

Luis Suarez has saved them big time this season

Yea but he won't stay long if they don't become competitive again. Deserves to be playing in the champions league really

@StringerSport: When asked how many players he's hoping to sign in January #lcfc boss Nigel Pearson just told Radio Leicester "one, maybe two"

We know he wants a centre half and a striker

Alex Baptiste and Chris Wood seem the targets

Hes already denied Wood, and cant see him going for Baptiste.

Come on Nige, get Sharp in! hes not wanted at Southampton and is wasted at Florest!
Wonder how much Murray would cost to stop Palaces promotion push ... :bandit:

Would be happy with those signings. But would also love an out and out beast of a midfielder.

"Villa are also lining up a £1m move for Crystal Palace striker Glenn Murray, 29. With 20 goals this season, Murray is the Championship's top scorer and his former Eagles manager Dougie Freedman, now Bolton boss, is keen to take him even further north."

Personally, i would do everything in power for Sharp. Him and Nugent would work together so well.

    £1m for Murray?

They might as well bid £26.50 for Messi.

Can't see Murray going anywhere, his penalties this season have inflated his price tag but his age will put people off bidding stupid money

It is Villa, and possibly his last shot at Premier league football.

In Jan alot will depend on if we can get Danns, Beckford, Wellens and Gallagher off the books. Between them they must be on about 80K a week

If we can clear themout it frees up money to Nigel to exploit the loan market aswell
