why would he want to come to saints on loan. he was at birmingham last year and left for premiership football, so why would he want to come all the way down here. (both location and leagues.)
Half the bloody Stoke City team are ex-Saints one way or another. I was going to nominate Crouch, for a laugh, but he's injured.
To be fair to Stoke and Pulis, they have tried to stop that strategy recently. They've now moved onto signing ex-Spurs players. (Signing Crouch was obviously a mixture of both strategies).
I looked at Stoke's squad on Wikipedia and was surprised to see Andrew Davies on loan at Bradford. Amusingly he was sent off in both of his first two appearances, prompting a three and then four game ban.
Well, I agree that we are scoring well, and with the later comments about strength in depth, but what worries me most is, what if Rickie picked up more than a niggle? Would you want to rely on Connolly and Guly and youth players as back-up. We need a striker, but not just a backup. A quality striker.
Really don't know how we're going to fit Billy Sharp, Jermain Defoe and Cameron Jerome all into our side....
i hear that demba ba is good mates with guly do prado and isn't enjoying his time at newcastle even though he is scoring, and thinks southampton are a club for the future?
Woudn't happen in a million years, but he'd have the Championship for breakfast with the service we're providing.
Due to not being able to do a poll I would like to ask you: When do you think we will make a signing? A) Jan 1st-7th B) 8th-14th C) 15th-21st D) 22nd-29th E) 30th+ No prize. Just a well done from me if you're right
