Gimenez link keeps propping up. I’m not sold personally. Tailed off near the end of his spell at Feyenoord and has flopped at Milan. I’m not one to write off a potential signing but when watching him he looks very stiff and I’m not sure he can cut it in the prem.

Interesting. If he is sold in January, we'd be looking at a nominal fee, I can't help but feel as a homegrown talent who remains untested at this level, it would be an opportunity lost.
I think both Neil and Cirkin will be off. Given how many we are losing to AFCON, I don't think we will let them go till towards the end of the window though. Realistically with so little left on their contracts, what would we get for them? 6/7 million for Neil, and 3/4 million for Cirkin?
I think you'd be lucky to get that much in all honesty, we've worked wonders with sales before but it wouldn't even surprise me if it was extremely nominal fees with sell ons.

Was just thinking that. He couldn’t play for them until next season in that case though. Pay a few million and he can play for them straight away. Anything over £4 million would be good going imo.
That sounds a bit odd saying we've not started negotiations with him, I'm sure we've offered him a contract last year
