Baz saying lots of moving parts and now looking for a loan wingers. I assume Omur on a straight permanent has opened up better options for a loan player. Rak Sakyi perhaps?

some excellent signings and hopefully one or two to be confirmed - however I can help but feel disappointed that we haven't sought to bolster our centre back positions - Greaves, Jones and Macca are definitely a weak link given the rest of the squad - however as long as we score more than we let in we won't go far wrong

Personally think Jones is one of the better CBs in the league and doubt there’s many left footers with the ability and potential as Jacob. There’s probably a drop off to McLoughlin but we’re not in a position where we can have mega money back up sitting on the bench

Biggest load of bollocks spouted on here in a long while. Jones and Greaves the weak links?

We'll strengthen at CB after promotion and to fair we have strengthened at LB and goalkeeper, defence is solid enough for a tilt at it.

If Ingram is now staying as Baz is saying I wonder who is on the bench on Saturday. You’d expect Allsop starting with Pandur backup but can’t see Ingram happy watching from the stands

My message to the fans is to be excited for our work in the transfer window," Ilicali told Hull Live from his office in Istanbul. "Our fans should get ready for one last big surprise before the window closes. We are fully determined to make the play-offs, we are pushing for promotion and we are working very hard to bring in a player that we feel will complement what has been some very good work so far.

"In January so far, we have achieved all of our goals. It's been a maximum effort from everybody at the club and we're almost ready for the last months of the season, but we have one more big move that's almost done and we hope it will make the fans very happy."

Rak Sakyi for me.

Baz: The Tigers are understood to have made a significant breakthrough in their quest to sign a winger while their attempts to bring highly-rated creative attacker Abdulkadir Omur from Trabzonspor have almost reached a conclusion with an announcement expected shortly.

Bringing in a winger remains a top priority and is now the club's sole focus in the final hours. Recent developments suggest the Tigers will be able to get their deal over the line, and it would be crucial.
