Dont think the anderson deal is under threat, hes posted a leaving message to everton on social media so hes def leaving themAnd Anderson potentially.
could be the hold up to the announcement - waiting for Dyche to sign it off

Can't believe all our eggs are in the Simms Basket....must be others under consideration
Wonder if the club are working on a striker, with the SImms deal being a "nice go have" if it comes off. Signing 2 strikers today would be marvellousIm sure we will have other irons in the fire, Simms will just be the ideal signing as he will fit straight in.

I would guess they are although the RS injury will have thrown them for 6.Wonder if the club are working on a striker, with the SImms deal being a "nice go have" if it comes off. Signing 2 strikers today would be marvellous
Yeah. Needs must when the devil drives. Could be why we are signing Anderson and seemingly sending Wright away - save a bit on wages and use it to fund a signing we maybe weren't planning until LND did his achilliesI would guess they are although the RS injury will have thrown them for 6.
Down side is any clubs we were having discussions with will obviously bump their price. Comes down to whether we are prepared to match it
Always got to have in the back of our minds that this season was always about stability. A promotion chance was a bonus.Yeah. Needs must when the devil drives. Until a couple of months ago I would have agreed with you. What I've seen since the World Cup break has told me we can absolutely go up this season. There is nothing to fear (outside of the top 2 maybe) in this divisionAlways got to have in the back of our minds that this season was always about stability. A promotion chance was a bonus.
The club is aiming for sustainability amd whilst that may not appease the fans short term i'm sure it will long term
But are we ready for it squad wise and financially. If more than 50% of our current squad are goo enough then yes. If not al the good work done could be rapidly undone if we're getting beat 4-5 nowt each weekUntil a couple of months ago I would have agreed with you. Yeah. That's the sticking point and one that I've been a bit wary about. Would going up rip up our model? Having said that, £200m in the coffers regardless of what happens in the PL season can't be a bad thing. But are we ready for it squad wise and financially. Agree, but not if it weakens us/strengthens a potential rival. You must log in or register to see media
Bailey might be going to Rotherham.
Prt of me likes that we do what’s right by the players. He needs minutes at his age and we don’t want to deny him the option

I'd ask him to stay until the summer with the promise of a free transfer
I'm 50/50 on it to be fair. We'd miss him around the club/dressing room and it'd be yet another experienced head not involved on matchday. It wouldn’t be fair to stop him going and playing though.
If he stays and barely plays, he’s probably less likely to get a decent move in the summer.
If he’s unhappy with the game time he’s getting would he even be a good influence around the club?I'm 50/50 on it to be fair. We'd miss him around the club/dressing room and it'd be yet another experienced head not involved on matchday.
Presents a risk
He's a great character and I don't think he's the type to cause problems. He understands his position in the pecking order. Having said all that, Mowbray has left it up to him to decide, so if he stays then it's because he wants to. Good that Mowbray is prepared to treat players like adultsIf he’s unhappy with the game time he’s getting would he even be a good influence around the club?
You can't loan players after the deadline@Scout73 what is the position after deadline day ends regarding loan player please?
