nah I’d imagine quite a few people who’d be needed for such an announcement might have the day off considering was a busy day yesterday and busy week ahead

(by this I mean support staff rather than the likes of Speakman)

He's a promising player no doubt. Pretty hard runner, though not electric. Put his hand up when Everton were struggling so fair play to him for that.

But if he's a forward he doesn't score many goals, and if he's a midfielder I haven't noticed. He's nearly 22. I'd have thought about £10m-£15m.

7 in 65 apparently. I wouldn't be paying £45m for that if he is a striker.

It is quite hard to identify a more experienced player that may fit in with how we play and operate. I am sure Mowbray will want one in that brings at least 150 games experience. Somebody like Jay Fulton from Swansea would be a good fit style wise I think. Tough deal to do so late in the window though. Would we accept Jack Colback back? Could probably get him out of Forest on a loan, cost dependant. Does Mowbray to back to Blackburn for Buckley? The more I think about it the more I think it would be worth just giving the younguns the run of it and see where they take us.
