I really do love all the opinions on here. In my opinion though Neil is the player on our books that has the most scope. Has been for a year or more.Behave, Neil used to be weak in midfield but think he is now in the top 10 for tackles in the league. He averages an 85% pass success rate which is great considering a lot of his passes are forward passes. He also wins 55% of his defensive duels which is high for a CM

Lihadji said: “I can see it’s a beautiful city with supporters who have a great love for football, so I’m happy to be here. The project attracted me because the club inspire young players to improve their level and I am ready for the challenge. I’m excited to play for the club and I’m eager to get on the field.”
Tony Mowbray added: “We are delighted to welcome Isaac to Sunderland AFC and it’s a mark of the Club’s progression that we can attract this level of talent when so many others were in the mix. His playing time has been limited in recent months and we need to manage our immediate expectations, but he will add competition to the squad and we always have one eye on next season. I often talk about how important it is to keep putting talent into the Club, so we are delighted that Isaac has chosen to continue his career with us and we are looking forward to working with him.”
Reminds me of coleman and if the skys the limit, a bit of robertsonI agree but I’ve also got a soft spot for Trai Hume. I think we may have under the radar unearthed a future star here. Like top level.

Sorry but anyone can see how good a player Dan Neil is, and how good he can become with more experience.Great ? Question, no I just think Dan has a great attitude, he just gives it away to much for me, and he ain't as tough as he needs to be in midfield.
Saying that, if the new lads can do the hard stuff it will help Dan out a lot.
I wished Dan all the best after the Boro game and he eas buzzing.
Older players will be lying about their age to engineer a move here![]()

If you build it, they will come..... and they are.
.Alreet bob mate. I would honestly say over the last 2 month Dan Neil is the most improved player in the starting 11 easily. Every time Evans has not played or been subbed he has stepped into Evans roll with ease. On Sunday in a derby which we lost Evans early doors Dan was the best player on the park. Think sometimes we forget the kid has only played 1 full season in professional football. For me personally he's a future captain of the club.IMHO, I think his side and backward passes outlay the forward, please remember it's just my opinion.
Apparently, Will Grigg is only 19, andd Jack Rodwell is 17
