Look at you trying to ruin our happy Thursday
No way to early I feel the same when Reid got us promoted the first time.Do you think promotion at the end of this season is in the best interest of the club????
Do you not think staying down for 1 more season and get a deeper strength throughout the squad.
I'm not saying we should stay here, just interested in other fans view.
Absolutely, I find it hard to believe how some fans think otherwise. 100m followed by parachute payments is a no brainer.
What's the point in being in this league longer than we need to. If we do go up it's because weve earned it and out squad is in the top 3 best squads in the league.
Stewart linked with Brentford and Bournemouth in the Daily Record.
And that’s what gets results. It's not about how much you spend, it's about how you spend it
we were/will be better without evans imoMy opinion is that he is class, not quite up to the pace of the game yet and not exactly sure about where he fits into the team, but he has a confident air about him, and looks like he is one of these players who can create space , where none exists, in fact much like Amad. When Evans came off against Boro I said before he crossed the sidelines this wont weaken us at all , and some laughed at the comment, did it ?. I dont think it did in the least. and that was not all down to Dan wonderful though he was. There is a lot of mixing and matching to do in the games ahead , and it would not surprise me that we will be the stronger for it by the seasons end, with Michut an important player in the scheme of things. If I am right the signing will be a forgone conclusion.
Aye. Imagine not wanting promotion FFS.Do you think promotion at the end of this season is in the best interest of the club????
He always going to be linked with clubs, he won't be going anywhere this monthStewart linked with Brentford and Bournemouth in the Daily Record.
we were/will be better without evans imo
And if we go up, how much do you think we will need to spend just to stay up ?
Something me and my mates have discussed back and forward for a few weeks now.Do you not think staying down for 1 more season and get a deeper strength throughout the squad.
I'm not saying we should stay here, just interested in other fans view.
I am here to be shot down but I dont think this is a major blow anymore. A blow yes, but not a massive one. I like Evans, he does a lot of good work, and he is a good organiser. I have thought this season though he has been played around a bit and Neil has looked the more effective defensively and in terms of sensing danger. Michut, to me, looks a talent to be let loose. I think he has loads of ability on the ball and great vision. Him and Neil could be an unbelieveable pair. Mistakes will happen with youth, and for will dip at times, so lads to come in from time to time. But I think two footballers in there, who can cut passing angles and get a foot in when needed is the way forward for us. It might just be pivotal, although gutted for Evans and I am not trying to do him down.I am more concerned about Evans being out for the rest of the season ( our luck with key players, continues).
Dan is getting better, but I have concerns about Michut being up for it physically.
I hope Stewart gives us a few more years. The lads still progressing and the best is yet to come.I just hope we get a good fee for Stewart ( in the summer, not now). I'd be gutted to see him go but I think it's really important to start selling players for profit. Need the revenue coming in. Scouting have shown they can spend money well.
If we go up then it becomes much easier to hang on to Stewart, Neil, etc. Dropping back down with parachute money once all the young ‘uns have a taste of premiership football and been in shop window could set us back a long way. Honestly don’t know what would be better. I’ll just take promotion whenever and however we can get it.Totally understand what your saying but can we pick when we want to get promoted? Apart from Burnley and probably Sheff U there are about 10 teams still in the mix for the play offs.
Its a difficult one and I can understand both points of view. For what its worth and on what I have seen this season I am now in the lets bloody go for it camp.
100% yes. He is a work in progress but players with his technical ability and vision will go a long way. He is on the half turn, passes are always crisp and seems to have a decent sense of game awareness.I would love to know what all your opinions are of Michut.
As far as I know (which isn't much) there is a deal where at the end of the season we will have to pay around £4m to sign him on permanent. I have read the mags are sniffing around him. Do you think we should sign him up or not?...
Yeah been reported on the leeds end tooIs Gelhardt being reported anywhere else? Bit dubious about trusting that mag Downie.
