Peanuts, the money we would make in just that one season would boost the club's finances for yearsAnd if we go up, how much do you think we will need to spend just to stay up ?

Absolutely, I find it hard to believe how some fans think otherwise. 100m followed by parachute payments is a no brainer.
What's the point in being in this league longer than we need to. If we do go up it's because weve earned it and out squad is in the top 3 best squads in the league.
I would love to know what all your opinions are of Michut.
As far as I know (which isn't much) there is a deal where at the end of the season we will have to pay around £4m to sign him on permanent. I have read the mags are sniffing around him. Do you think we should sign him up or not?...
Every season for as long as I can remember Sunderland have been in a promotion or a relegation battle. I'm just glad it's looking more like the former this year.Do you think promotion at the end of this season is in the best interest of the club????
Do you not think staying down for 1 more season and get a deeper strength throughout the squad.
I'm not saying we should stay here, just interested in other fans view.
Bob you dont get to pick and choose when you got chance of promotion if we got a chance this season try best to take itDo you not think staying down for 1 more season and get a deeper strength throughout the squad.

Without a massive influx of cash that is spent on the squad, it doesn't matter how long we stay in the championship, if we got promoted we would struggle tbf.Do you not think staying down for 1 more season and get a deeper strength throughout the squad.

Everton will 100% throw the parachute money at it, new stadium in the championship could be a disaster for themI think the problem is that 3 stronger teams again will come down. Without the money from the PL how much are we going to spend? You’re looking at the likes of Southampton, Bournemouth.. Southampton for a start have a minimum £15-20m player in pretty much every position. They won’t lose ALL of them. And the money they do take in from selling some of their better players they’ll reinvest in good championship players like Burnley have.
It's not about how much you spend, it's about how you spend itAnd if we go up, how much do you think we will need to spend just to stay up ?
If we have even half a chance to go up it's our duty to have a go.Absolutely, I find it hard to believe how some fans think otherwise. 100m followed by parachute payments is a no brainer.

I know what you're saying and not one of us wants us to be getting thumped each week in the prem, but if the chance is there for promotion we've got to take it. You never know we might surprise a few like in '99.Do you not think staying down for 1 more season and get a deeper strength throughout the squad.
