When you agree a loan with a buy option, would I be right in assuming the contract with the player would also be agreed? I.e, we can just activate the transfer, not activate and then have to negotiate with the player?

Nah it’s just the price that’s agreed, we would have to negotiate their contract once we activate the option.

However, it wouldn’t surprise me if the contract was agreed before the option was exercised.
