Noticed the what the falk podcast tweeted about it. Sure the lad who does that is a journo himself and wouldn’t just post rumours based off a post on a message board too.
he says in one of the replies that his only source is internet chatter and he doesn’t have a source
He also says the lads agent is the same agent as Simms. No idea if that's true or not but wouldn't be surprised.
Tough league this season, glad we are well out of it.
It’s how rumours get momentum tho so it’s quite dangerous for somebody with so many followers to do that. He’s just a fan tho so it’s understandable to get a bit excited (I got overexcited too).
next we know tho all the fake journos jump on it and give it credence it might not deserve

Tbf his injury record has been fine this season and it’s surprised me. Featured most weeks, but hasn’t managed 90 minutes… I rate the lad I really do, his injuries just really frustrated me last season and I pointed that out a lot in the summer when we were constantly linked. Wish him all the best.

Seen lots posted about him being a crock etc but he's been in Wigans squad pretty much every week fit. Different issue not being picked by their managers for whatever reason but he hasn't been injured anywhere near what has been suggested. Not this season for Wigan anyway...if he’s fit
Briefly played with Wigan’s manager at Liverpool iirc. He’s very experienced and should slot straight into their side.
You can tell how ****ed the whole club and the whole mindset at Wigan is by the replies to that tweet. They are universally over the moon by a 31 year old journeyman signing until the end of the season.

Been in Turkey. His career is a bit random, either very good or really ****/ not selected. In fairness he’s overcome some addiction/ dependency issues. He could actually be a very good signing for them.
