What do you class as a ‘few’ and is he even worth it currently? I’m not so sure.
Mind you if anyone is going to work out a deal that suits both parties for a young player then it’s us

Must admit I’m like you, something makes me a bit wary, I certainly don’t feel the love like I do for our other players.

He’s only young, has lots of potential and has handled the championship well so far. Plus he already has an understanding of the way we play and seemed to enjoy it here. He’s definitely worth a punt if available I reckon.
Stick a £1.5m bid in and see what happens.
About what he is worth at the minute. Still only young so loads of potential but wouldn't expect the club yo pay more than 1-2 million with a decent sell on %.
He can score a few goals. When I think back to some of the dross we've had it makes me shudder. All depends whether the recruitment team think we can do better for the money. I'd be happy to see him back.
Using ex-Sunderland players helped them finish above us last year. Maybe they are doubling down and think they can pull off the same trick.

Chelsea’s recruitment of late has been a disgrace. Really poor.
Obviously I know absolutely nothing about buying players. But maybe 4 or 5 mil up front with sell on clauses. He's 22, if he has a good season he will be worth 15+.
