Bass has played and even scored for the U21's against them up the road . If that counts as playing in your book .

Not slagging the kid, I think he's handled the step up brilliantly and can only improve. the point I'm making is that our season doesn't automatically fall apart with Bass in goal

Genuinely interested to see how this window goes. Gut feel is that Simms will be back, we will bring in another striker and experience in the middle of the park

Name these mistakes that have led to goals please. The ones that are SOLELY down to Patterson.....cheers

Patto's shot stopping is great. I'm confident with him on any 1 on 1's or even penalties.

I think he's weak when a ball is whipped in around the edge of the 6 yard box, though.

No idea on Bass. Haven't seen enough of him to judge.

I'd pretty much agree with this. Sometimes his kicking leaves a little to be desired and he should be more vocal but this will come with time and happy to have him as our no. 1. Like many, don't know enough about the back-ups but trust the recruitment team to get priorities right this window.

The more I've thought about it he'd be absolutely perfect for us. High presser. Works his bollocks off. Could fill in for Ross Stewart or complement him really nicely.

The fact he's a right handful would also create tonnes of space for LND and the tricky winger guys as well.

And he's got a streak of ****housery about him our fans would love.

Wigan fans would ****ing hate it though as they gave him away for buttons.

Patterson’s a good keeper for any age, but he’s doing brilliantly for only being 22.

Sounds spot on for our team with those attributes. Add him to the work rate and skill of Diallo, Clarke, Stewart, etc and defences will dread playing us.
