All I heard was Mowbray saying they need a young lad like Ellis to come in and compete with Ross. No mention of, we need a couple of strikers in. Unless I've missed something and I apologize.

no need for apologies, i just got myself mixed up...probably because Willis was a defender and you mentioned strikers.

not sure with Willis but he must have some recurring issue they cannot get on top of as he looked a very good lad to have in there, i would have thought keeping was would be a good call.

i think, and this is just my own thoughts, we are certainly looking for someone to add alongside LND and possibly a decent back up...i can imagine the time with no strikers to be complete headache for the coaching staff.

Unfortunately, it will be random. He played 90 minutes for Leeds against Man City and came off the bench again against West Ham. Probably just visiting family/friends in the region.
I was thinking about Leeds young strikers earlier. Greenwood and Gelhardt. If Bamford was close to returning I could see Gelhardt particularly getting a loan to the championship. He is featuring but arguably needs more minutes than he is getting. I just dont know where Bamford is at with his op recovery.

There's Gnotto as well. He's played less but scored a goal in the last match.

You can't imagine that there's room for all 3 young players in addition to Bamford and Rodrigo. It just depends as you say on Bamford's recovery and how Leeds rate each of them.

Ridiculous deal but he's a quality player by all accounts. In theory, that's the centre back pairing sorted for a decade and they have one of the best possible teachers in Thiago Silva.
Good way of helping with FFP as well as.his transfer value is spread over the course of his contract

he still has a house in Seaham.
