The fact Keith has explicitly said he wants to stay, the fact all the clubs linked are now after somebody else, and the fact the Gazette are saying Boro tried for Stewart but were told he wanted to stay at Sunderland - all these things are looking very positive indeed
The Gazzette bit suggests Boro are expecting him to sign a new deal.
Stating the obvious here but the best signing we can make this window is Ross Stewart

Not claiming ITK status - my son's mate is a promising footballer. His Dad knows RS professionally and apparently he's hinted about an announcement tomorrow. I know the kid, he's a really sound lad and he's met RS a couple of times this season.
