What you think KLD has put this whole idea together
Speakman has sold the idea of buy em in cheap and bring them on then sell.
This idea was what he started at Brum, and brought it here.
Look at Jude Bellingham that got him noticed, why do you think Dodds is here.

Another stick to beat Speakman with.

KLD has advisors and aims, he isn't being lead by one person

If we kept Stewart and Simms, then added JC-H to the squad I'd still be pissed off. I don't rate him at all
Peterborough fans I know think he's not the most committed trainer etc, has a poor attitude at times and only turns it on when he can be arsed or near a transfer window.

I'm not saying he is, BUT being sold an idea that makes big money to anyone sound a great idea.
Your post says "Speakman gets his way"

That insinuates that KLD is being influenced by him and not listening to others. Which will no doubt be grasped on by the fans and Speakman will again be the devil incarnate

So let him go then what getting a CF that can score goals like him is nigh on impossible
Certainly is. The spotlight will be firmly on Speakman and the recruitment team to deliver.

Can't say we have a structure then break it at the first opportunity though. They have to have confidence in what they are doing to find a replacement.

Any truth in what I've heard about one of the reasons broadhead signed a new contract with Everton rather than leaving to another club permanent, was because they want Stewart and it won't just be Simms that's part of the deal it's broadhead aswell

He ain't going to Boro I told RTG 3 month ago the 2 clubs who would buy him.
Rangers are 1st in queue If they sell Morelles, and Everton 2nd with Simms as px at £2 million.
Both told £10mill is asking price.
It's all down to our ambition or lack of it.
He wants wages way outside our pay grade.
So if we do have ambition we have to pay for it.
Or Speakman gets his way and we become a selling club.
Every club is a selling club, you always seem to have digs at KLD or speakman. The only way we will ever be successful in the long term is selling players for good money and reinvesting it in the playing squad. If he wants wages way out of our pay grade then he can leave, its as simple as that - if we cave to him we set a poor precedent for others to do the same

Getting your way ain't the right term for this, it's more this will work over a longer period of time.

I just say it as I see it or what I'm told by proper people.
I get on with KLD we speak when he is here.
I do not have a problem with him or Juan.

But what if selling Ross causes us to slip down the league, cos Simms won't fill his boots
Why won't he? Young lad, plenty of potential. Needs work but has scored goals this year despite his injury

Then we may bring someone else in?

What if selling Stewart means we actually do well or better than we hope?

Why does selling Stewart automatically make people say we will do worse? I don't recall seeing him a starting line up for several weeks and we aren't doing to bad at all

Not sure what you mean by proper people.

The club is in a great place because of KLD and Speakman. Speakman has a plan for the club and has done an amazing job so far. We have a club we can finally be proud of, which we def couldnt say when the previous owners here

What if giving him 20k a week causes carnage in the dressing room and a dozen players are knocking on Speakmans door wanting a pay rise?
Your not allowed to say that, you will get Liverpool, man city and other top clubs thrown at you and how their players don't do that.

It's an impossible situation, Stewart is brilliant there is no doubt but to a fair few he is irreplaceable and a losing him will show our lack of ambition

The players at the top clubs are the worst for it. The likes of Ronaldo, Messi, Mbappe et al will all have clauses in their contracts to be in top x% of earners and the next tier down of players will have it in their contracts to be within ×% of the top earners. I would if I was them <laugh>
