is that sterlings position he is taking/rotating with?

i have heard this player can play both sides, so if true, we will have good options for rotating and keeping players fresh for the run in, doesn't solve our defensive frailties though lol.

He can play across the line so on both flanks and as a number 10. But predominately he plays on the left, so in an ideal world he'll take Moses place <ok>

Summary so far

Transfer window shuts at 23:00 GMT

Man City target Porto duo in big-money deal
Chelsea set to sign £12m defender
Saints' Osvaldo in talks with Juventus
Biggest deal - £37m Juan Mata to Man Utd

Express are saying Kono is on 100k a week at Dnipro (not hard to believe as they have a rich owner and might explain why he's still there) if that is accurate it might be stumbling block as I can't see us matching that (and I wouldn't want us to) so might depend on his willingness to take a pay cut to progress his career.

Caughtoffside reporting we're trying to get a loan to buy deal sorted for M'Vila. Seems very unlikely but something for the M'Vila fans to cling to!

Its nailed on to happen then <doh>

You may as well said your brothers dog told you <laugh>

He's not taking anyones position. If he arrives he improves the squad options. Means we would have Suarez, Sturridge, Sterling, Moses, Coutinho and the plank to choose from for the front three positions.

Kono will displace Sterling - Sterling has been in good form but it's important not to burn him out. He's still only 19 ...

14 hours to go thank chuff. then we can all focus on ball kicking and OT articles such as the RHC one about the two ladies in the office.. this is far better than the inevitable summer transfer thread someone will start tomorrow listing what positions we need players in...roll on sky sports transfer tv and pics of harry hanging out the window of a 4x4

I'm sure complaining about OT threads in the transfer rumours thread will do wonders for the cause <ok>

Right, time to start paying attention to the transfer malarkey again! Always ignore it till deadline day (unless we sign some mans innit).

Unless the lad is on his way, then the medical will have to be done elsewhere and there will be no leaning pics until Monday

how far away are we talking? 4-5 hour plane flight, more, less?

wouldn't be surprised if anything is happening, it wont be until after 6.

so on that note enjoy the rest of the day waiting for nothing to happen lol

Since he's been playing regularly, we could choose to take the gamble; sign him up and carry out this stuff afterwards.
