We sat in the summer on alberto, aspas, minger and toure and nobody else came in... unitl the last day..
this time someone could trun up in the next 7 days... who knows...
i nthe end IMO our last successful window and the one making most impact on our club was last january... reina = disaster.. toure for carragher is fine... sahko is a decent buy.. the rest? pah.
we need an impact to drive us on.

Selling Reina was not a disaster. A guy who openly says I will leave Liverpool if Barca come in is a player not worth having tbh.
mingolets made as many if not more mistakes and has hurt our passing game badly....
reina being pushed out mainly for wages is the truth... its knocked half his value off as well... its short sighted and thick.
mingloet is a good keeper and if we were building he's an ideal signing to build with but i reckon this season was one too soon for him to have to play every game.
Ideally we'd buy and keep reina til he left cos the guy would have given his all while here and no person will convince me otherwise.
same for suarez. nobody will or could convince me that even if he were leaving on wednesday he'd not kill himself in the two games before then

Does anyone else think Mata and Rooney are quite similar in appearance? Obviously you have to take into account that one grew up in the sunshine eating paella and the other grew up a #bitter munching cigarettes.
Add in the fact that they are about the same height and both number 10s... could Mrs Rooney have had a Spanish fling?

he is probably enjoying his new found friends who agree with every anti liverpool comment he makes to want or care about coming back.

So Suarez should have been sold last summer then? Sorry RS but IMO Reina wanting to play for Barca one day was perfectly fine with me, he'd been a top keeper for us and was genuinely passionate about LFC. At least Reina had the decency to flirt with Barca (a team who he has obvious links to anyway), Suarez was flirting with fecking Arsenal ffs.
Most important of all though was that he was the perfect keeper for Rodgers style of play. His footwork and distribution was clearly the best in the league, his aerial ability was suspect granted but our dominance in the air hasn't got any better since he left has it. Can't do much about it now obviously but I didn't understand the logic of the loan deal/keeper change then and I still don't understand it now.
