In the space of two years Pedro Rodriguez has gone from being one of the first picks in Barcelona’s front three to falling behind Alexis Sanchez and even Cesc Fabregas in the pecking order.

The striker peaked under Pep Guardiola but has struggled to reproduce his once excellent form in recent seasons, and with a World Cup on the horizon, several news sources claim he could be considering a winter exit from Barcelona with England in mind.

Looks like another loan type deal possibly but with Pedro and Even Shaquiri I would take those two in a heartbeat. Both wanting to play and prove worth in a WC year.

Hernandez and Kagawa will be looking to jump the sinking ship for a top four side, and perhaps Phil Jones as cover for Johnson and Lucas? More realistic than strikers from Burnley, I suspect.

Ok lads, I spoke with RHC's mate - LFC are looking at bringing in 4 players:

1 GK - Lee Nicholls
LB/RB - Montoya
DM - M'Vila
Striker - Mitroglu

Montoya - good!
M'Vila - good!
All i know about Mitroglu is that he is 25 and still getting loaned out by Olympiacos....
Surely Pedro / Shaqiri are the ones!?

Speaking hypothetically - I would take Hernandez and Kagawa. Two clever little players who would definitely boost our squad.

However, priority is with midfield and full back.

Brendan Rodgers says they will look at a loan move for Jordan Ibe to continue his development. #LFC

I doubt many will have seen this kid play but he is quality and was a big reason behind Monchengladbachs uprising through the league over the past few years. Swiss international and will be able to see more of him in the summer. Playmaker for me.

Liverpool are set to make a January bid for Borussia Monchengladbach midfielder Granit Xhaka.

Reds scouts have been working on a list of possible targets, and 21-year-old Xhaka tops the list, having proven himself as a star in German football.

The Switzerland international was a target for Liverpool whilst at Basle, and he's been followed closely ever since.

A strong, aggressive and powerful central midfielder with an excellent passing range, he has been compared to Steven Gerrard in the past, and Brendan Rodgers is keen to bring him to Merseyside.

It's thought that Monchengladbach have been made aware of Liverpool's interest, and would be open to doing business if a sizeable offer arrived.

Xhaka, who was linked with Manchester United in the summer, is valued at about £15million but it would likely take a bid closer to £20million to do business.

There was also real interest from us in the summer for this player. When he was at PSV he was good but think the money ( as the rich Russians do) kind of tainted him a bit.

Liverpool are said to be leading the charge to snap up Dinamo Moscow winger Balazs Dzsudzsak even though new Fulham boss Rene Meulensteen has thrown his hat into the ring.

The 26-year-old has been on the radars of several English clubs his days at PSV Eindhoven, but instead he decided to make the move to Russia with big spending Anzhi before making the move to Moscow in 2012, becoming Hungarian football's most expensive player in the process at £15m.

Dinamo are now reportedly ready to listen to offers for the player after a heavy £60m spending spree saw them bring in the likes of Aleksandr Kokorin, Igor Denisov and Yuri Zhirkov and now both club and player have hinted that they would both be open to a switch elsewhere.

Liverpool have had their eye on the 57-cap winger for some time now and Brendan Rodgers will monitor his situation over the next couple of weeks after news of Fulham's initial interest will likely garner some attention.
