not really relevant to this thread lol, but did make me laugh last night from the Emirates where they said the Arsenal fans was well behaved, so what the feck was the 2 blokes for then holding them back if well behaved? as far as window goes happy with what we done, not sure on Fellani, def over priced but time will tell, also good business by Arsenal to get Ozil. looking forward to jan window now, ever since Brendan came i have got quite excited by transfer windows, haven't felt like that for a while sadly, onward and upwards been a while but generally happy wit the direction we are going.
Quite a lot of non-Liverpool supporters (including mancs) have commented very positively on what we've done.
Jenners, I hate to tell you but football is actually about playing the game and not about buying, selling or swapping players!
wtf does that have to do with my comment? elaborate on what part of what i said are you making that sarky comment?, not the first time either!!
From the daily mail Manchester United's £30.5million bid to sign Athletic Bilbao midfielder Ander Herrera collapsed amid reports from Spain that hoaxers, claiming to act on behalf of the English champions, had turned up to supposedly represent the club. Three people saying they were United officials had arrived at the Spanish league’s offices in Madrid to pay the buyout clause in full but it was claimed that these men were, in fact, hoaxers. Agents close to the negotiations disputed this version of events on Monday night, but the transfer collapsed regardless - even though it was established United had an additional hour to conclude the deal providing a Deal Sheet with the signature of both clubs and the player was submitted to the Premier League. United manager David Moyes insisted the negotiations failed because United were not prepared to pay Bilbao’s £30.5m price. He said: ‘I really like the player but we thought the buy-out was the wrong valuation.’ Bilbao president Jose Urrutia making it clear he would accept nothing less than £30.5m having rejected an initial bid last week. Herrera had been keen to make the move since learning of United’s interest and it is believed that personal terms over a five-year deal worth £2.5m a year were agreed. It left United having to rush through the transfers of Marouane Fellaini from Everton, signed for £27.5million, and Fabio Coentrao from Real Madrid. It is also understood United tried to hijack Mesut Ozil’s £42m move from Real Madrid to Arsenal and made an unsuccessful £34m offer for Real’s Sami Khedira before enquiring about a third Madrid player, believed by Spanish sources to be Luka Modric.
I've heard a rumour that we are looking at a Spanish kid who will be born in October, we have arranged to scout him from birth so that we can beat Ajax to him.
It will be easier for us to sign world class players in January. We will obviously still be top of the league so the sales pitch will be a piece of piss... "sign for us, score some goals and take the credit for Liverpool winning the league"
I know we're at a loss for something to do because there's no game for a fortnight, but really, this thread is taking the piss. I predict we'll be twenty three points clear at the top of the table in January and everyone will be falling over themselves to join us.
