Why sign another young, talented young midfielder when supposedly we have plenty of them in the reserves already plus Suso to come back and Alberto in the squad already - never mind at 12mill! Doesn't help us now and leaves us with a very young and inexperienced team next year (without Suarez too). Not convinced...

Podolski- ummmm he was pretty damn loyal to Koln, was there, went to Munich, it didn't feel right, went back to Koln. Badu at Udinese has even said in the papers in Italy that if we came calling he would move. That would be a good signing in that DM role and someone with an abundance of energy and quality to boot.
It can't be a coincidence that we miss out on a lot of our first choice targets in Rodgers first two big transfer windows here. First year it was Sigurdsson & Dempsey which ****ed us here for the first half of the season. Second season it was Mkhitaryan, Costa, Willian, Salah & Papadopoulos To miss out on our 4 attacking targets in 1 season is just stupid. Too many players for it to be a coincidence in my opinion.
Papa doesnt count. It was Rodgers decision. Mkhitaryan chose a team that had just been a runner up in the CL. Costa didnt even consider a move because he is happy where he is. Willian's price was to high. Chelsea out bid us with Salah. I have no major complaints there.
