shame he has hit good form, was hoping Spurs would get frustrated with him and let him go, would have been easier for them to swallow than Soldado who they will never get their money back on.

we need full backs who cut crosses out.. they actually tried a bit yesterday to do so but still failed.

Liverpool transfer speculation today sees Reds boss Brendan Rodgers targeting a move for PSV Eindhoven midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum.

The Dutch international was reportedly wanted by Arsenal over the summer, but rejected speculation by insisting he would not be leaving PSV this season having made a promise to the club.

Liverpool are also reportedly linked with signing Real Betis winger Alvaro Vadillo and Porto midfielder Fernando.

The M'Vila rumours are only that (taken from the Echo) mate in fairness but then so is this which might cheer you up:

Liverpool had a representative in Portugal on Sunday reportedly to watch Porto midfielder Fernando.

Fernando's contract ends in the summer and he's been linked with Manchester United and AC Milan.

He's in the bag <diva>
 
If we have agreed a deal for Fernando, or are trying to, it would make sense to try and take M'Vila on loan to fill the gap and to keep him out of other clubs hands incase the Fernando deal doesnt happen.
