Hypothetical of course but would you take Jay Rodriquez? Would certainly take Lallana. EDIT: even mata on loan would be incredible... If we get CL and lose Mata... We still win really.
No thanks, to neither. Not bad players or anything but there's better, plus they're both English so you're bound to pay over inflated prices for both of them.
Just need to get this off my chest. On the old 606 , Arda Turan became almost cult like figure, a "ghost" no one saw him play, was he even real? Those same ****s must never watch footy outside of the prem as he is for sure real and is the real deal. He was awesome today against Barca and on more than one occasion turned their players inside out, snaked away from tackles, kept the ball ticking along, created chances, and worked extremely hard on both sides of the ball. Would have been a real coup for us back in the day, but with the way Atleti are playing and he is 28-29,don't see it happening.
Was really impressed with him. He has been good for the past few years but today he really stood up toe to toe with Barca. It was good to see. Apparently a really big LFC fan too but meh, they all say that don't they.
Arda Turan is a very good footballer, it's a shame we didn't get him. Been one of Ath Madrid's best players under Simeone. Also, LFC are now seriously considering a permanent bid for M'Vila. Happy days!
Turan is the past. He doesn't fit our player strategy and he's not that outstanding a player to break it. So it's end of story for him. There's plenty more out there.
But 77 pace for recovery and pressing even before we apply a shadow, anchor or engine chemistry style
A Rumour from a Sky Sports presenter! Fabrizio Romano @fabromano21 Liverpool and Napoli will have new talks with Rubin Kazan next week to buy Yann M'Vila immediatly with a permanent deal. He claims Liverpool and Napoli will have new talks with Rubin Kazan next week to buy M'Vila, but the PL is his first choice. #LFC Fabrizio Romano who works for Sky Italy claims Liverpool are now seeking to purchase Yann M'Vila, after he rejected a loan offer from Napoli. Touted fee is roughly 10m pounds. His agent has come out recently to say that M'Vila loves the Premier League, and wants to go there. He works with Di Marzio (Sky Italia) and they were the ones who first broke the Sakho deal. Very reliable. M'Vila would represent great business IMO - potential to become world class.
Matic to Chelsea looks likely for around EUR 35m. Incredible - they bought Luiz for around 25m PLUS Matic, and now buying him back at that price. Either way, their central midfield will look formidable!
People worry about his attitude and all that but I think BR has shown he can manage that with Sturridge and his apparent attitude problems, Sterling and his off-field issues, oh and some guy Suarez who has gotten into a wee bit of trouble.
There is another club that was notorious for that type of stuff, I want to say Real but Barca springs to mind too. Just a funny thing too btw: Real need a no.9 that is better than Benzema, talks of Negredo creep up..... he came through their youth system and they sold him for some 10 mil. Still looking for that creative midfielder Real are, talks of Mata creep up...... he also came through their youth system and was deemed surplus!!! Crazy.
