DUO CHASE COVENTRY MIDFIELDER Cardiff and Bristol City are all showing interest in Coventry City midfielder Zain Westbrooke. The 23 year-old midfielder came through the Chelsea youth system and has caught the eye in League One this season. He’s scored 4 goals in 19 starts to help Coventry to third in the table, but is out of contract in the summer and Coventry are yet to extend his deal.

Derby County and Bristol City reportedly want Coventry City midfielder Zain Westbrooke https://www.derbycounty.news/transf...ant-coventry-city-midfielder-zain-westbrooke/ I can't believe this rumour, another midfielder when we are so desperate for strikers, unless certain players are being moved on, LJ on the chess board again.
Bristol City make ‘formal offer’ for Celtic target – Hoops still to bid for striker http://sportwitness.co.uk/bristol-city-make-formal-offer-celtic-target-hoops-still-bid-striker/
Portuguese media are reporting that City have made an official bid for striker Andraz Sporar. Eddie Nketiah is also due to make a decision very soon on his next loan move. please log in to view this image
He seems promising, but as with all these players from countries with lesser standard leagues, can he cut it in England's second tier. His only time out of his native country, with Basel, was a failure, albeit he was a few years younger then. Big gamble at c£6m, too big of a gamble for me, but I hope I'm wrong.
Personally don’t understand the obsession with Nketiah, I don’t think he’s even all that good to be honest, the obsession with the bloke on Otib and Twitter is cringeworthy In my opinion.
I don't go on that site, from what I've read from others on here, Red Robins hysteria on here is considered mild on that site........ Nketiah had a very good pre-season with Arsenal, hence all the hype, but it was just that, pre-season and Arsenal have better players than us to make him look good. He was never given a fair go at Leeds, so hard to say. His next loan move is crucial for his career tbh, so hopefully, if he does come to us he has a burning desire to turn the growing number of doubters wrong about him.
I agree ref Nketiah, if he’s as good as some think he should of got more game time at Leeds. I love the thread on OTIB it’s funny as ****. Red Robin would fit in well with some on that site.
Makes you wonder all the bullshit about players being checked a window or two before it happens. Seems to me what we want and what we get is two different things in most occasions. We seem to scramble around with the left overs. every bloody window. We were told quality is coming in, not quantity. Let’s see it happen, this season the championship is as weak as could be expected. Tine to invest.
Report: Burnley want in-form attacker with 10 assists this season https://www.hitc.com/en-gb/2020/01/...nt-in-form-attacker-with-10-assists-this-sea/
I haven't seen anything yet on him moving yet? I see Norwich are linked; however in the summer Arsenal said they didn't want him loaned to a Prem club, they saw his progression path was being with a higher-end Championship club, which makes sense. However, the Arsenal manager has since changed, so might their position. Goals will be tough to come by at Norwich as they are in a relegation fight, as Tammy found out at Swansea. He had to drop back to the Championship to get his reputation back on track, so I think Arsenal will still see his best progression option as being with a Championship club, but will it be us?
Didn't he look the other way the last time he was to show up at Ashton Gate prior to joining Leeds? I almost get the impression that he wants to be anywhere but Bristol City, don't ask me why.
