We are, but it's a joke of a bid, given that they've already accepted cash up front from QPR. We're skint until the summer so this is the best we can do, sad really.
Rumours today that Donovan return is looking likely. It's a no brainer when you look at our bench. Unless you're one of those of the belief that he's too old even though he's the same age as Pienaar.
Moyes "Bet on Everton bringing new players in this week" http://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/everton-fc/everton-fc-news/2013/01/28/everton-fc-i-d-bet-on-blues-signing-someone-this-week-david-moyes-100252-32691977/ Very unlike Moyes, He must actually have a bit if cash to spend for once.
Sky Sports can exclusively reveal that Everton will sign 22-year-old Netherlands international midfielder Leroy Fer. The deal will see Everton pay FC Twente €10m (£8m) for Fer and Sky sources also understand that this deal does not mean that David Moyes will have to sell to fund the signing. by Mark Buckingham 1:00 PM Where the **** have we dug £8m from? haha
You pessimist you! "Sky sources also understand that this deal does not mean that David Moyes will have to sell to fund the signing"
Club have confirmed it. http://www.evertonfc.com/news/archive/2013/01/28/deal-agreed Signed on the drip apparently. Felli will be gone in the summer anyway mate, it's nailed on.
May as well enjoy actually spending money without predicting anyone going for now mate. It doesn't happen often here!
I think it might have been the season we signed Andy Johnson! oh god. less of Neville until the summer anyway.
Leroy Fer to Everton is huge for you. For those who have not watched him he is an attacking midfielder, his passing is average but he makes up for that with his presence, surging runs, aerial ability and his knack for goalscoring. I'm surprised the Everton top brass where able to get anywhere near bringing him in because FC Twente's president Jan Van Halst does not like selling good players.
Sorry mate, it was a joke, he'll be keeping Phil Neville out of the side, & in his latter years Phil's main contribution has been his paintbrush highlights & vigorous finger pointing
Good news, the Twente fans seem to be upset over the price and selling a good player. Had a couple of injuries this season season though.
The words I noticed in that sentence was "Phil Neville" and a noticeable set of nashers came to mind. If Fer pushes Felliani into the more defensive role I assume Phil Neville will be on the bench I suppose.
