We were. AN was rumoured to have gone to Marseille to have talks about N'Koulou. Didn't happen in the summer so I have my doubts it will now. A win tomorrow might help our chances.
I think as long as we avoid a heavy defeat at the hands of Saints (unlike Arsenal) tomorrow, it will enhance our chances of getting in some of the players we've been linked with.
Good grief! I'm surprised your glass is still half full...after last night I thought you would have drained it dry?
I just happen to think we may have turned a corner and I wouldn't be surprised if we take 9 or more points from the next 12. I didn't think our rookie boss was up to the task admittedly, but what I saw against Manure and Villa last week has made me think again, (we won't mention the Spurs no show). No doubt I'll change my mind again in the next few weeks when the transfer window slams shut with no quality signings coming through the door. Mixing my metaphors a bit there
No meat on the bones here, nothing at all apart from a statement? Transfer Centre Live @TransferCentreL Blackburn Rovers are interested in signing Norwich City striker Lewis Grabban.
WBA need to sell to buy, according to Pulis: http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/35209738 I fully expect Berahino to move on and generate £10-15m for them, but nice to know we aren't the only paupers at the big table. They're only 3 points above us too, so hopefully we can reel them in if our signings give us a boost in the second half of the season.
