Another midfielder too. So that's the Murphy's, McGrandles, Thompson, Godfrey, Maddison, Ebou Adams, Cameron King, Eaton-Collins, and I'm sure the other youngster I'm forgetting is a young midfielder too. Certainly competitive for our youths in that area of the pitch!

 

Surely if that's in any way accurate, we've just made him the highest paid player in league one? Can't imagine too many players in that league take home £10k p/w or more. Particularly at cash strapped Coventry.

 

Lets hope at least a couple of them make the grade! )

Yes RER and I agree it's been an excellent window for us and I'm certain the vast majority of fans will feel the same - (yes, I would have liked to have seen more defensive cover, but time will tell).

I was expecting to come on and read a player from Yeovil I'd never heard of or something! He's a real talent! It looked nailed on he would go to Arsenal a few months ago, and Liverpool were in for him the last few days! What a bit of business!!

Biggest shock for me was not seeing Laffs leave.

I'm buzzing about that! Not a kind of signing I ever expected. Not a first team DCM, CB or LB. Still, buzzing! Heard so much about him linked to the top sides. Never even gave it a thought we would be able to sign him.

Even if we go down, no one can say we didn't give it a go in the transfer market.

I tell you what, on the plus side for Coventry, 2 great young defenders they loaned in yesterday.

Jack Stephens from Southampton, and Bailey Cargill from Bournemouth. 2 great young players. It's good Jacob and Maddison are going to be playing with such good young exciting players at that club.
