But what about the one legged blind bloke? PS - You do realise that writing 'fact' after things doesn't make them true, it just makes you look twelve years old?
Oh bless you OLM. It's getting late, I was wondering how long I could sustain a debate with a Dull fan without her turning it into some sort of wierd bitching contest. Go on, off you pop.
You need to remember we have seen Fryatt and Nugent play alot. We let you have Fryatt because he wasnt good enough. Nugent is class There isnt a better keeper in the league then Schmeichel. Lonergan couldnt even get in the Preston team that got relegated One thing that made me laugh was when im was looking on the Hull boards they think they have a realistic chance of signing people like Billy Sharp, Nicky Maynard and Jay Rodriguez
I didn't say Nugent wasn't good and Kasper was very good when you played us(though I rate Lonergan too), I was just taking the Michael out of AKCJ, who seems to think everyone you sign, however mediocre they are, suddenly become a world beater when they sign for Leicester. Something that is self evidentially not the case, based on your current form. Nobody on the Hull board with half a brain expects that we will sign Maynard or Rodriguez, though bizarrely it does seem we made an approach for Rodriguez, it was apparently dismissed out of hand(a move for Sharp was muted, but mainly because he wouldn't have to move to switch to us, though I doubt we seriously considered it). You'll find that those in the know think we're in for Sam Vokes and a young Man United striker on loan.
Tunchev without the injuries would be worth more then Matt Mills was at 5M I would of said about 8M for Tunch at full fitness before the injuries
It looks like you've got some competition and he's made no secret of the fact that really only wants to move to a Premier League club... http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11681/7399641/Fulham-to-start-Sharp-scramble
We saw the 'competition from Prem Clubs' throughout the summer and only Shane Long has done any good. The rest have either stayed where they are, gone to the prem and have sat on the bench or have come to us. Is Sharp likely to want to move all the way down south? Is he wanting to sit on the bench behind Zamora, Dembele and Johnson? Does he want to play for a bigger club with a bigger fanbase? Is he wanting to increase his wage? Is he wanting to be at a club with better facilities and stadium?
Michael Johnson only came for Sven as did Gelson Fernandes and now he left they both want to go back. Gelson Fernandes has looked very good for us but i havent rated Michael Johnson from what i have seen. He looks miles too slow Both can go though and i reckon they will
There are a few better 'keepers in the league than Schmeichel. Lonergan wasn't in the Preston team because he was injured and then training with Everton, who wanted to sign him. You're the only club that came in for Schmeichel. Also, how many times have you seen a Leeds fan use the sentence in bold, with Fryatt replaced by Schmeichel and Nugent replaced by Lonergan.
http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/12691/7400301/Whites-tracking-Townsend Reckon he'd be a good signing for us.
Proud Can only agree with Johnson who has dissapointed me Ball - Dont know why we signed him in the first place Berner - served club well wish him all the best Peltier - Maybe I was expecting him to be like Kyle Naughton and he is definetely not Naughton All others will NOT leave
