Apparently, we have signed 29 year old midfielder Shaun Cooper on loan from Crawley for a month. He was a former Pompey youth player, who we let go to Bournemouth as a kid, and he is local, coming from the Isle of Wight.
Yassin Moutaouakil, (a former France U-21 defender he had an unsuccessful trial at Pompey in 2009), Adam Read, Shaun Cooper & Frankie Sutherland are all set to sign in time for Saturday's match. Does anyone know how many that makes now? I'd counted up to 43 or 44 players before end of December. All I can say is we do like to set records! And we shouldn't forget James Keene - has he been mentioned yet?

No I did remember him - but thought someone had mentioned him earlier. But to be honest the number of players we've signed this year has made me feel quite weary

Hands up................. all those who would like to see Svetoslav Todorov back at Fratton Park. The rumours surfaced on twitter early this morning and now it's being reported in the News that he wants to make a return from the Ukraine where he is currently plying his trade.
I might try to start that chant tomorrow maybe! If I can figure out how to pronounce his name (and if I overcome my inherent introversion....) Also YES PLEASE!

Well that's quick work - similar to Rocha arriving and signing. It's good to see so many former players doing their best to help out - bearing in mind that any money offered will be very low. They say when the chips are down you find out who your friends are
If they can pull it off it would be a massive boost to the squad. Toddy was always loved by the fans for his scoring and work ethics......he is with out doubt one of the clubs best strikers In recent (ish) history. He would bring calm to the front line and a skill level too good for L1 in my book...........he still does a good job in his prem league......but his age is starting to show at that level..................I feel it would be a major signing and one that could change our scoring fortunes!
