I mean I'd like it to be us signing Phillips and Bellingham but I think a load of non playing and soon to be out of contract guys is our best hope.

Coady and Tarkowski replacing Lascelles and Clark would be a good start to be fair. I can't watch anymore of that comedy duo.

Top pair of signings them, bringing in two premier league captains to improve the defence would be a statement.

It may work to our advantage that next year is a World Cup year and players will want to play so as to get picked and we can afford big wages, allegedly, so loans would not be the worst option to get us 17th place, just a thought.
