So the latest is..

Adlene Guedioura is having a medical tomorrow to sign on a permanent deal. I guess to replace Livermore and the injured Mason? Whether we're still in for another (better) CM remains to be seen.

Andrea Ranocchia is flying in tonight to have a medical tomorrow. Thats CB covered. We'll now have Maguire, Dawson, Bruce, Ranocchia and an injured Davies.

We have tabled a 9 million euro bid for Nicolas Pepé from Angers SCO. Apparently the 3 big French teams also bid for him but were rejected. Our bid is the highest and is being seriously considered.

There also seems to be something in the Gradel deal.. but perhaps this is just a backup option if we fail to sign Pepe.

Have I missed anything?

I said when silva and his staff came in it was all to short, all this change for what could be 6 months there was nothing long term about it. (There's even talk if marco going now) if silva comes in and he and Ehab have a long term plan and want to change the way we play and that involves selling some of our better players then that's fine as like most I thought for a while we are to slow and don't create enough.
Here we are approaching the last day of the transfer window with again what appears to be no plan, there's no way these targets have been long term targets or probably even scouted. It's just panic stations and get numbers in, although this window is worse because we've sold our better players and brought in loans.

Ehab is gambling the long term viability of the club to try and stay in the PL.

If it comes off, then his family will probably re-coup most of their investment at some stage.

However, if it doesn't then we start 2017/18 season in the Championship with reluctant owners, no manager and even fewer players then we started with
this season playing in front of sub 10,000 gates.

Bright Ehab won't realise selling a player who can play in two positions wasn't maybe such a bright idea. Especially when Mason and Davies are injured. He now needs 3 players. With all these loans with hefty fees and wages he ain't going to profit much from his 20 mill.

Only on here & probably some drama queens on Humberside & in the HDM, some muppet reporters in the national papers trying to stir up trouble.
No facts to back any of it up.

At this point I'd like to apologise to all muppets who have been accused of being reporters.

Curtis our for 8 weeks is all down to Ehab, keeping such a small squad players are starting to get injured and having to even play whilst injured.

Unless things have drastically changed, the player always had the last say on whether they were up to it or not. He looked okay when the game started, sometimes **** really does happen. I think the only difference a bigger squad would have made (and I agree EA is a twat for creating pressure on selection) is that the injury would have broken down in training and would still be a 8 week lay off. It's bllody frustrating but our CBs - Dawson and Davies in particular - take a proper pasting when they play.

This is interesting.. Sky confirmed we have bids in for 5 players... Adlene Guedioura, Andrea Ranocchia, Nicolas Pepé and Max Gradel makes it 4... who's the 5th?

I really like everything Silva has done so far , and want to trust him with the signings .... I just hope they are his choices and his plans , and not just last minute desperation bids because original plans have been ****ed up by dickhead and dickhead junior

Did you like him putting a second string out in a cup semi final or getting absolutely tonked by a lower league team?

As it stands Geo, we've sold two..... lets see where we are tomorrow...

On the upside, we needed help at the back, needed help in the middle... and needed help up front... if the rumours go through at least we have addressed some situations..
We can only hope but as gets said a lot on here
It's the hope that kills you

I saw us beat Manchester United for the first time in my lifetime so I aren't going to complain about that line up , and yesterday was poor and i am a big fan of the cup, and always want us to progress but with our injuries and size of squad , this year we didn't need it
