Can't believe we are selling Guedioura for only £10million he's been our best player this season and that's about 5million below market value. Ehab is asset striping.

I've just read through 6/7 pages of panic. If everything happens that has been posted, shouldn't this mass hysteria be on here in 48hrs?

Certain posters do like to scare monger to get everyone going. If Robertson does go it won't be behind Silvas back, he'll know about it as a replacement needs to be found.

The names we've been linked with might not 'blow your socks off' but from what I've already seen Silva can bring out the best in players (yesterday was an exception to this) and he'll only be looking at players that will play the way he wants the team to play or who he has already worked with who know what is expected of them.

Stop panicking, let the guy do what he needs to and then if it goes tits up moan about it on Wednesday.
OK then. We wait until Wednesday and then copy all the reasonable criticisms posted today and post them on wednesday as well. That sounds like a plan that makes sense.

Hull City have made an offer for Angers forward Nicolas Pepe.

The Tigers are on the hunt for attacking reinforcements after Robert Snodgrass joined West Ham for £10million.

Pepe has been on Hull's radar this January and they now look set to make a late swoop for him in the final hours of the transfer window.

Indeed, according to reports in France, the Premier League club have made an offer for Pepe on Monday morning.

The exact amount of the bid is currently undisclosed but it has previously been stated that Angers want around £7.5million for the 21-year-old.

Dont know much about him but will judge when I see him , just been on the Watford forum and most say he isn't good enough for the premier league and are chuffed they have got three million for him. Silva must see something lets hope he gets the best out of him
Maybe he's buying him with a view to next season?

He's pretty ****ing terrible. Hopefully he's better for us.

I'm not gonna lie, I'm not excited by Gradel either. Probably an improvement on Markovic, but I didn't think he was that good at Leicester or Leeds.
Selling ever presents and replacing them by players who can't get a game doesn't seem a good strategy.

Gradel's almost a carbon copy of Snodger only less average.

Let's give a less than average 29 year old, injury prone, Ex White ****e winger who has done **** all in the PL a contract instead of upgrading the contract of the average one we already had.

Guedioura (3m) is a good signing if we also sign Milivojevic (13m)
Gradel (3m) is a good signing if we also sign Pepe (7m)
Zeegelaar (4m) will just have to do if we lose Roberston

Math adds up but don't think this will happen.

That'd be a strange sort of asset stripping where we spent all the money we got in.

We needed extra players, not ending up equal.
Plus, we will have reduced wages.

If we spend close to what we have gained I will be gobsmacked.
