It's definitely a good idea to run tyres filled with nitrogen, the problem is that you can't actually check if they are full of nitrogen. Watchdog tested cars that had supposedly had tyres fillled with nitrogen at Kwikfit and 2 in 5 were just full of air.
Bit my tongue - or stayed my hand - but whenever there is a complaint about this rubbish, the defence is "Well there's no news or no proper purpose for this thread at the moment" but we've just had news about Salibur that's been buried in another round of nonsense.
That's an Admiral view to take but it's not been a Goodyear for staying on topic as some of us are Avon difficulty!!!
Some might not have heard yet, and be coming in here to see news about it. Now I'm sure there'll be a few "And now you've contributed to the rubbish" or something similar. And so the cycle repeats.
He isn't coming. There, I've saved them the tiresome job of burning a tenth of a calorie clicking back to find the original tweet. It's basically laziness, though, isn't it? Just click the numbers at the bottom, it's not like there's a time limit or anything, it takes about thirty seconds. I did it on deadline day, it's hardly a hassle is it?
The 'news' was on Newsnow, from the HDM, at 17:19hrs, our time. It's old news now, move on, tyres are only flat at the bottom.
Some sales and marketing speak there, I have it in one set of wheels but don't notice any difference to the other set filled with air.
