A player demanded a transfer from his club despite his manager not wanting him to go, suggests a high profile player, so means it had a pretty big impact on his club. Would think it's at least interesting to know which club and which player.
It was the random bit about Essien tagged on at the end. I thought you were insinuating that Caceres wasn't really 30 & then putting him in the same box as Essien that a lot of African footballers maybe are older than they say. That's why I asked the question rather than jump at you with an accusation.
That's why I asked the question, I didn't understand why you mentioned Essien at all. But as you've cleared up my initial question there is nothing further.
In striker news from elsewhere, Omar Bogle ended up going to Wigan for about £1m and Wednesday might not have got the Rhodes paperwork through in time, it's gone to some sort of FA panel for a decision.
He's not uttered a wrong word since he's been here. He'll go on to be a one of the very best managers in the PL, after first rescuing us from PL relegation. Vamossssssssssss Marco!
Really. If you are right about the Allams transferring the debt owed to Allamhouse to the bank and we've sold players for less than their value to help get their debt down we can look forward to some interesting times. Especially if we are relegated.
I truly believe we are in a better position than Boro... a manager at war with his board and in the past his players and the only incoming someone we really didn't want and who wanted rid of Ramirez and Rhodes (if thats not preparing to be relegated I don't know what is).. Swansea's ace is Llorente or whatever you call him, Palace might have bought there way out of it, (don't know if they got Kone deal done) Slumberland... well!!!... Leicester in freefall and with their mind on other things... and I wouldn't leave Bournemouth out.. without Ake they look lost!!!... I'm pleased with what we have got, at least we can have a go at it... and as I posted on another thread, our run in, out of all of around us, especially Palace (who have an awful run in) is perfectly manageable...
Alex was excellent for the club when called upon... but lets not hide the fact that Hull City were fantastic for him. Lucrative contract, extension on contract... I wish him well..
