Are we still trying to buy more players? By my reckoning we had 6 spots in the 25 man squad to use (if we take Luer and Lenihan out) We've signed 7 already. How old is Markovic? Only other player I could see being dropped from the squad is Kuciak. I don't think there's any more to be done personally.

To start with, yes, but if we look doomed I think their interest will drop off a bit like N'Doye's who was essentially a loan.
I disagree Sydney, these players know that worse case we get relagated, but if they impress they could secure a move to another premier league club. If they come and don't fight for the cause then nobody will touch them.

Absolutely, I was merely clarifying there is some downside to loans, after the point was made that they were perfect for the position we were in.

It seems we are agreed. We were a clusterfuck a month ago and the same six months ago. We weren't much better under Bruce. (I see he's spent a few bob again). We might well be again in June, but we seem to be having real go. All these posters trying to make their sad point about being a 'selling club'. Go back to OLM's definition (that I asked for) and it is total panty wetting bollocks. We've sold two players and got a decent return, the rest are loans + one free. Perhaps the manager didn't see the loan players fitting into his plans. We've kept Robbo, Harry, Abel and the rest. We've moved an excess, injured, GK; Bruce and a few second string. What a ****ing blow that is. It seems that the trending whinge is now that the Allams have recouped too much debt; what a bastard that is, how dare they. So many tunes changed on here it's like a bagpipe convention.
