There lies the problem As soon as a manager loses control your ****ed Can only be one boss Look at us with ehab
He didn't "stay" with us. He was returning from injury no ****er would take him then. He did ok coming back last season. I imagine he wants more than a three year deal and no relegation clause. We can't do that. As I said do the honorable thing and ask fora transfer.
No we should be told every inner working of the club, we demand this. Ps I agree with you but I'm going with the board consensus. good idea.
If he was offered a three year deal, I'm pretty sure he wouldn't have just said it wasn't long enough, he's 30, everyone is going to offer him a three year deal (other than us, obviously).
As I said, they should have been made aware, but the club is perfectly within its right to exercise clauses the players know about.
So he hasn't said it, you don't know it but you assume. I'll keep defending my club, not the Allams, my club.
Or snoddy wants to leave this basket case and is coming up with diplomatic reasons for wanting to leave that aren't "This club is going to the ****ter"
There what is? They signed deals because we'd just been promoted and thought Bruce would sort us out like he did last time. I'm actually agreeing with you that we likely offered him a 3 year deal.
It's a reasonable assumption, certainly more measured than just calling our most important player a 'scotch ****' all the time. Contract negotiations are handled by Ehab and Ehab alone, so it's him you're defending.
So as he has 18 months now you think Ehab has offered a further 6 months? No it's not hI'm defending he's just the bloke who's negotiating for my/our club. I want him to negotiate hard for every deal for the good of the club. We're in debt because of player wages, nothing more.
No, I think he offered him a new deal from the end of this season, rather than triggering an extension to his previous deal.
