I'm always surprised by that reaction.
It might be hard to accept, but due to; geography, people's (southerners) conception of Hull, our label as relegation favourites, not to mention the state of the club, we are easily the bottom of the list of Prem clubs as a destination.
That will only start to change if / when we become an established PL club, but before then expect to pay exorbitant fees for average players and for selling clubs to have our pants down on a regular basis.

 

There's loads of PL teams outside of the M25, that are no better or more attractive than Hull. I would say we are no worse as a destination than Swansea, Middlesbrough, Sunderland, Stoke, Burnley, West Brom, Leicester.

No, I have travelled extensively in the UK and I still do. Hull and surrounding areas is actually where I'd prefer to live. Nottingham for example - it's a bit ****, not as **** as Leicester for example. But still, I wouldn't choose to live in or anywhere near Nottingham. The gun crime capital.

 

Totally agree. I would much prefer to live in Hull because it's my home town, but I don't for work reasons, but that doesn't change the fact that we're relegation favourites.

I think you've forgotten that Mason had, at least, the choice of us or Sunderland, so that pretty much blows your theory of us being a last resort out of the water.
