Scored 17 goals in a relegated side last season. Moved to Fenerbahce but not scored this season. Apart from a spell with Hadjuk Split, has spent all his career in Turkey. Still miles better than Ugbo.
Another one from central Europe according to WoL. Enis Bardhi, a Macedonian attacking midfielder. With Trabzonspor at present.
Thanks now I wont have to look at posts that only refer to me. So if anyone does post about me it`s their own faut for crying because they don`t like what I say...well I got news for you, i laugh at your posts.
Well we've got news for you too - we all laugh at your posts as well. I'm not sure you being right all the time sits that well with other forum members, but keep it going for the sheer entertainment value.
Or not as the case maybe. He can foxtrot oscar as soon as he likes. Perhaps to find a forum that appreciates his insights. Could be a long search.
Given that we're very close to being safe anyway and that we are probably not playoff contenders, I'd like to see us blooding some of the youngsters and try and give them a run of games. Erol has done well to steady the ship with a pretty dodgy squad but whether he's for the long term development of the club is a big question. I see the summer window as more important than this one as by then we'll have a better idea of him. That said, if people become available that can improve us now without breaking the bank, let's go. We have to start thinking about the future. DoF anyone?* *copyright remote.
Given your extended absence, what gives you the right to come on here talking such sense? *Feel free to plagiarise. I'm happy for ongoing development of the squad. Kick on as best we can, while continuing to build for next season.
Take your point Clingo and get it and would also like to see some youngsters get game time (if you’re good enough you’re old enough as they say) but I also want to see team strengthening in this window to see if a play off campaign has legs (which would be greatly enhanced by the overdue return of Ramsey). If we fall short then as you state next summers window will be pivotal to how next season shapes up.
Great points Nin and I guess you're right. Also it stands to reason that the higher we finish the more attractive we'll be come the summer. I suppose my reservations are about us buying duds.
As long as everyone is having fun but I detect one or two are not having any fun. I cannot be wrong on my opinion and neither can anyone else. I am not part of patting everyone on the back if that is all you want, this is a very small forum you can hardly afford to lose me. You are critical of my opinion and I am critical of all yours, so you only have me to put up with while I have the rest of you to put up with. If you don`t like my views then ban me. If all you want is a cosy little group then you do not need me. Years ago I was on here and its the same small number, have you wondered why you can`t get any new members. I know exactly why people look at this and see the reaction to anyone who does not agree. If you have to pacify each other to think your opinion matters good luck.
I suppose what's equally important and I'm sure it's already been mentioned, is who we should release and who should go back to their parent clubs. There are surely quite a few candidates for an exit sooner rather than later.
Thing is jck200, there are people on here who are not content with a pat on the back, indeed they want to take it further and Masky is not interested in that kind of thing.......far too manly for that! Keep it up pal, slip of the tongue there! Masky
Let me correct you on one assumption you've made - this "very small forum" certainly can afford to lose you. Personally I don't think you're deliberately trying to disrupt threads with your posts, but the "know all" attitude you display is annoying some members - obviously from the replies you receive, some more than others. Banning you if you cause disruption on the forum is the easy choice for me - but then as you know I never go for the "short odds" shot. There would need to be a concensus amongst members for me to pull the trigger but I can tell you the list is growing. As for the rest of the "small numbers" on the forum, maybe if we all relax a bit and just enjoy it eh?
I'm sure many of you can answer this for me so thank you in advance. If we agree to take a player on loan for a given length of time, are we obliged to keep them for the full period? I know the parent club seems entitled to recall at their own will but I'm not clear where we stand.
