    Not sure...

    www.efl.com/-more/governance/embargoes/

This link was posted recently on ITTV by Scoham.

Clicking on the word 'Championship' shows two teams with EFL embargos on them.
No L1 or L2 teams are listed.
The situation seems to be at the moment that the embargo Charlton Athletic is under is the internal decision of TS. We don't appear to have any external measures being imposed on us.

The impression I have is that this list was created in 2021 because football fans were unhappy about the EFL putting 'secret' embargos on Clubs, as they did to CAFC after Southall & the Fake Sheikh bought it for a quid.

That's how you operated in the Summer as well - 1 in 1 out.

Great to hear Rak-Sakyi is staying <applause> He's been terrific this season. Got to be the only serious competition to Dobson for POTY.
For goals and goals + assists he's our best player.

Let's just hope Dobbo does not suddenly disappear in the next 48 hours.

Well here we are, with about 36 hours of this transfer window remaining.

Events so far seeming to show it's another unremarkable one. Underwhelming even, though that's based on hopes being a bit higher than they should be given the circumstances. But we can't help that - it's in the DNA of every football fan.
I imagine about 80% of fans up and down the land at every level are feeling a bit let down by their Club's efforts, justifiably or otherwise.

If we don't lose Dobson or any of the four or five half decent (at this level) players from our squad, then it'll have to go down as "could have been worse". Rak-Sakyi staying is already a ray of sunshine, albeit a fortunate one rather than something we had much control over.

I doubt if anyone (except maybe BB) is expecting great things between now and Tuesday night.
Maybe one more in. We won't have too long to wait.
Personally I'm kind of glad to have some busy work days to distract me. Having things to do does make the time pass more quickly...

Expect nothing and you won't be disappointed. And realistically, what reason have we been given to expect significant strengthening? Fvcking none, that's what!

Despite those three recent wins, if we don't beat Exeter City this coming weekend, Charlton will again be in the lowest 3rd tier position after 28 matches in our modern era. Possibly even since 1926.
That is a measure of how far we have fallen, even in the last few years.

Let's hope he's not a replacement for Dobbo

Very much with @The Penguin on this. As with the takeover, my expectations are pretty bloody low. The transfer window seems to be a question of shoring up a pretty leaky ship, so we have a new striker and left back, but nothing expensive. As TS doesn't want to spend, and the prospective owners are not the owners, no surprise there. Why would you spend money on a house before you buy it?
However, selling Dobbo would undo all of what has already occurred, such as it is. Offloading the captain for a loanee from Bournemouth would be all sorts of wrong. Howvere, we have a few midfielder types we could cheerfully offload beyond Dobson. Kirk springs to mind, as does Jayesemi. Hope kills ....

Jayden Stockley moves to Fleetwood on a 2 1/2 year deal. Personally I wish him all the best. Seemed like a great person and on his day scored a lot of goals, but only when the service was set up to his finishing style, which lately it hasn't been. Also seems to have an injury issue though it appears not to have shown up on his medical with Fleetwood.

On Saturdays showing Bonne is not an upgrade on Stockley.

No, not at all. To be fair, that Bolton defence would give problems to most league 1 strikers, but unless we replace Stockley, we are back where we were at Vhristmas - too light up front.

I think Charltons season ends tomorrow night, knowing we are probably 6 quality signings off of a play off team. Half a team <laugh>

Moving Stockley off the wage bill might be the right move, if he is one of the higher earners and not playing much. Or not.

Not expecting anything from Bonne. He is playing to get a contract somewhere next season so he might be willing to do the hard yards and impress. Hopefully that will save Leaburns legs a bit. Or not.

Having witnessed many underwhelming transfer windows, I greet the closing of this transfer window with a shrug.

    <ok>

I don't see Stockley being replaced, or Bonne was the replacement
