Ralph Krueger was still CEO until June 2019, so the current board can’t really be held responsible for Pellegrino’s appointment, or for Hughes’ for that matter.

Basically the gist of your argument is , we need to spend money we don't have.... which has never been the case... blows my mind that people are getting all puffy that the strategy won't change. We are self sustainable and doijg well. Why would change just to turn into West ham.

 

So he can cover right and left back then. Valery is out of favour, Stephens is our left back cover and JWP our right back cover. I think we’re short of a player there. It would give both fullbacks a much needed rest to have the option anyway.

 

Would United be happy to loan him out when he possibly won't play though? Can't see it.

Well if he doesn’t get loaned out he doesn’t play anyway unless Utd have injuries. I’d be pretty sure he gets a decent few games for us as we basically can’t rest our fullbacks at the moment so he could come in for either. They’re integral to the way Ralph sets us up.

 

Not sure if this is aimed at me? I’m
not getting puffy about anything. People are talking on here like we’re going to strengthen in January for our title push. I merely suggested that if we do but it’s unlikely to be a striker that will push Ings out of the team.

 

Surely Gao has a say in the hirings and firings. So therefore we should give him some credit for okay-ing the Ralph appointment and for not getting rid after the 9-0.
