I read somewhere that the more Minamino plays, the cheaper the loan deal gets for Saints. Don't know how common that is in loan deals, but clever incentive.
I accept cash, cheque or online payment - just so you know! We will be fine, still predicting between 8th and 12th.
I agree that we won’t get relegated but I am also grateful that we have a 15 point advantage over Fulham.
Just checked - Bmth went down on 34 last year. We need 6 points in 17 games to get past that. For those that are worried about us going down, stick £50 on it and i guarantee you'll have a huge windfall *(we are 500/1 with William Hill so you will get £25,000 if my maths is correct..oh and your £50 back)
So have you though! His names is Volkins!!! Honestly, people these days have no literacy skills! Teehee
Southampton manager Ralph Hasenhuttl rejected the opportunity to sign Norwegian striker Joshua King on deadline day because he doesn’t rate the player, according to a report from Football Insider. The 29-year-old joined Everton from Bournemouth in the final hours of the January transfer window after Hasenhuttl rejected the opportunity to sign King as part of the deal which saw Shane Long head to the Cherries. The Irishman joined the Championship club on loan until the end of the season but during the negotiations, Hasenhuttl rejected King and instead opted to pursue a deal for Liverpool forward Takumi Minamino.
Would a manager actually come out and say they don't rate a professional footballer? Probably not. They'd say something like 'he doesn't fit our style of play', or something.
Seems a weird one to me. We have Djenepo, Redmond, Armstrong, Minamino, Tella and Theo (when he's back from injury). It's probably our strongest position in terms of depth. And I'm not sure he would be an improvement in terms of quality either.
