The “easy” days are the dangerous days. Often not fully warmed or stretched. I once pulled my quad muscle the night before a cup final. We had just walked through some set-pieces and then finished with a little shooting. We hadn’t done a proper warm up and pop! Cup Final was to be played at Krap Nottarf, so I was disappointed as even though it smells, you couldn’t beat playing on a professional pitch.

Im not sure why you think he isnt coming here, based on that. He may well do, but I expect lots of teams are having initial conversations with him and his representatives.
I also heard he wasn't very impressed with the lackadaisical attitude of the french for rolling out their vaccine programme, and he also wasnt happy with some of their policy decisions on Brexit. But that is for another Thread. Or so I am told.
